Michigan townships (various), maps, 1822-1922.

Series 59-60 and 215-216 of record group 58-17 consists of maps, blueprints and notes relating to various Michigan townships. The first four items (1922) include a volume of field notes, a map, and two blueprint copies relating to the townships of Carp Lake and Bliss in Emmet County, Ren G. Saxton, C.E., and J.H. Smiley, surveyor. The next items are a map and blueprint of the state public hunting and fishing grounds of Huron County (1911), P. Praschan, surveyor. The next item is a map of the exterior township boundaries in Lapeer and St. Clair counties (1822), Joseph Wampler, surveyor. The final two items are a map and blueprint of Norton and Springlake townships (1910) in Ottawa County.

Surveyor in Ohio, who started a tannery in Steubenville and lost all of his money then moved his wife, with his son's family, to Edgar County, Illinois.
